NEW YORK BORN, NEW YORK MADE

OUR STORY

You know Hal. Everybody knew Hal.

Hal was a New Yorker’s New Yorker. He wasn’t into trends. He didn’t do yoga, didn’t sip oat milk, and definitely didn’t “snack mindfully.” Hal ate chips. Loud, crunchy, kettle-cooked chips that tasted like something. He liked bold flavors, strong coffee, and Mets radio on in the background.

He liked his seltzer sharp, cold, and preferably in a bottle that might explode if you looked at it wrong. Flavor? Optional. Bubbles? Mandatory. The kind that makes your eyes water. “If it doesn’t fight back, it’s just water,” he’d say.

Hal didn’t invent the chip, but he definitely made it better. Kettle-cooked, loud as a subway at rush hour, and pairs perfectly with your favorite neighborhood deli sandwich.

Now, we make seltzer and snacks the way Hal would’ve demanded: bold, brash, and born in New York. No fluff, no fillers, and no “lite” anything. Just full-flavored beverages and bites that don’t apologize — just like Hal.

Hal’s New York.

If you know, you know. If you don’t, grab a bag.

2014

Hal’s New York Seltzer launches with 7 flavors — because one wasn’t enough and Hal never knew when to quit: Original, Black Cherry, Lemon, Lime, Raspberry, Vanilla Crème, and Orange. It’s like a deli fridge in a bottle.

2016

We debuted Ginger Ale to the lineup — because apparently, seltzer needed a cousin with a little more drama and a lot more bite.

2019

Seltzer without chips? In this city? Please. We launched kettle chips to pair with our seltzer because Hal believed in balance. We didn’t just make a snack- we made a duo.

2023

First came the seltzer. Then the kettle chips. You thought that was it? Welcome, Pretzels. We aren’t building a snack brand. We’re starting a flavor empire.

Perfect for any occasion!

Rooftop hangs, lunch breaks, jury duty, breakups, makeups, airport delays, park picnics, awkward family gatherings, and surviving the subway. Whether you’re celebrating, stress-eating, or just trying to survive a Tuesday, Hal’s is there — loud, fizzy, and unapologetically snacky.
